DISCLAIMER: This article is intended for [Google Chrome](https://www.google.com/chrome/) or other Chromium-based browsers, such as the new [Microsoft Edge](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge). By following the steps in this article, I assume you know what you’re doing.

Developer or not, I’m pretty sure you’ve encountered this page at some point.

If you’re a developer, I’m pretty sure at one point you’ll deal with “anomalous” certificates, such as self-signed ones for development servers, to cut costs, for example. However, unfortunately, some browsers deem these certificates as insecure, and will show you the titular site not secure warning. Normally, you’ll get an option to bypass it, and visit the site anyway. However, sometimes you’re not so lucky.

Sometimes, there’s no way to bypass this warning.

But worry not, you can bypass the seemingly impenetrable warning wall by just typing thisisunsafe. No need to click on anything, just type thisisunsafe, and you’ll go straight to the site. Simple, isn’t it? It seems like Chrome wants to make sure that you know what you’re doing.

Again, ***PLEASE DO NOT BYPASS THE WARNING IF YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU’RE DOING!*** Site not secure warning is there for a reason, and you shouldn’t take it lightly, especially if you’re getting it from a new website you’re attempting to visit.

Well, I guess that’s all for today, Folks. I’m thinking of sharing more small tips like this in the future. What do you think? Anyway, I hope you find this tip useful and thanks for visiting. See you in the next article! 😀
